Collection Overview

Intensive CareMedicine - Paediatric and Neonatal has launched a Guest-Edited Collection on Staff Wellbeing in Paediatric Critical Care

 This unique collection aims to explore current research in the field of wellbeing in paediatric critical care. This series encompasses a rich mix of expert opinion, commentary, quantitative research and qualitative explorative studies. A global approach has been used for this series which has yielded a plethora of articles spanning different wellbeing related topics, staff groups, healthcare settings and cultures.

Submissions are welcome from experts in nursing, medicine, clinical research, psychology and will cover topics including staff wellbeing in PICU in COVID 19, examples of good wellbeing initiatives in Paediatric Critical Care units and retrieval teams and the impact of working in PICU on burnout and resilience in healthcare professionals.

This will be a Collection will be open for submissions from all authors – on the condition that the manuscripts fall within the scope of the Collection and Intensive Care Mediacine Paediatric and Neonatal more generally. We are welcoming submissions until 30 June 2027.
