We have analyzed a new formula which is fermented with Lactobacillus paracasei CBA L74 and which closely resembles maternal milk and can give the newborn the right kick start of life. This has been demonstrated in a clinical trial carried out by Prof. Fabio Mosca at Mangiagalli in Milan. This fermented formula is rich in microbial metabolites which allow the induction of an IgA response and the control of microbiota composition similarly to breast milk.
