Over the past days, many regions in Iran have experienced severe disruptions to internet access. Connectivity has been unstable, extremely slow, or completely unavailable at times. For researchers, reliable internet is essential for submitting manuscripts, responding to reviewers, uploading revisions, accessing journal platforms, and communicating with editors and collaborators. These disruptions make even routine academic tasks difficult or impossible. Delays in email delivery, failed uploads, and interrupted access to submission systems are increasingly common. These challenges are not due to lack of commitment, but to technical limitations beyond researchers’ control. Greater flexibility and understanding can help ensure fairness in scholarly communication during such disruptions.
