Toward Adaptive Precision Medicine
Precision medicine has largely relied on molecular characteristics measured at a single point in time. Yet diseases evolve, and treatment decisions need to account for these changes.

As a patient's disease and response to treatment change, subsequent treatment decisions should be informed by updated molecular and clinical data. We advocate adaptive treatment strategies that integrate genomic information with longitudinal molecular and clinical data. Artificial intelligence may help analyze these data and guide treatment decisions. The key challenge is to establish the reliability of its recommendations.(https://doi.org/10.3390/jgbg1020016)
