This was a great read. Well written and filled with the stories behind the scientific finding that have shaped our understanding of heredity. Most impressive to me was the way Zimmer really paid attention to the microbiology, from the microbiome, to microbial genetics and how to study of microbes has led to breakthroughs in human disease.
