When genes meet environments: rethinking adolescent mental health
Our study of more than 3,000 adolescents, examining genetic propensities across a range of psychiatric conditions, suggests that genetic and environmental factors mostly make separate contributions to mental health difficulties. Their interactions are complex and difficult to reliably identify.
