About Amin Mohamed
I am a genomicist with a strong interest in host-microbiome interactions in marine systems through multi-omics and computational biology. I love data, lots of it, and there is something genuinely exciting about finding patterns and biological stories hidden in complex datasets. Scientific challenges fuel my curiosity, keep me asking questions, and are one reason I look forward to going to work every day. I love listening to classical Egyptian music, especially Umm Kulthum, while analyzing data or writing manuscripts.
