About Amrita Chaudhary
Dr. Amrita Chaudhary obtained her Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur. In 2019, Dr. Chaudhary joined histopathology division, Tata Medical Center Kolkata as Scientist C, there she extensively worked on predictive immune biomarkers in oral squamous cell carcinoma and developed her skills in IHC scoring and digital image analysis using relevant softwares. In addition, she gained experience in clinical metabolomics and proteomics techniques from biological samples. Prior to joining at ICMR headquarter as Project Scientist C, Dr. Chaudhary was a post-doctoral scientist at Biotechnology Development Unit - International Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (ICGEB) Headquarters, Trieste Italy and worked on upstream/downstream process development for large scaleproduction of monoclonal antibody in mammalian cell line system which includes CRISPR-Cas9 transfection, high-throughput screening using Clonepix2 technology, bioreactors and chromatographic purification. In addition, she is an active reviewer in Elsevier, ACS and Springer Nature Journals viz. Scientific Reports, Gene, Food Chemistry, Journal of Ethno-pharmacology, ACS omega, Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry, Complementary Therapies in Medicine, Biomedicine & Pharmacotherapy etc.
