Big database ecology to examine if size traits are driving population trends across the world
In our new paper we tested if within-community trends are consistently size-driven by linking large open databases. We found diverse responses, but no pervasive trend. In this behind-the-scenes I'll discuss our approach and what the results can and can't tell us about ecological systems worldwide.
