About David Bermudez

My current research is focused on quantum simulation in the context of analogue gravity, mainly using light pulses in optical fibers to study quantum field theory in curved spacetimes. This field joins quantum theory, nonlinear optics, and general relativity to study phenomena usually related to gravity in optical systems. Together with my students, I work on theoretical and numerical studies in close collaboration with experiments.
