About Dominik Gräff

I am a glaciologist and seismologist who loves to study the physical processes of our planet's cryosphere. I have always been intrigued by the dynamics and hidden details of glaciers -the small scale sliding and ice flow, the subglacial waterflow, the interactions of ice and ocean- and their large scale implications. As an experimental physicist, I aim to capture these processes in their natural setting with unconventional field-based sensing techniques. Always with the motivation to measure and quantify the unknown details of our icy environment.
