About Kara Maxwell
I am a physician scientist in cancer genetics. My clinical focus is on adult cancer genetics. My laboratory is focused on understanding the mechanisms of tumor development in individuals with inherited mutations to breast and prostate cancer, specifically in individuals with Li Fraumeni Syndrome due to germline mutations in TP53 and in males with BRCA1/2 germline mutations.
