About Ketema Adere Gemeda, Ph.D
Ketema Adere Gemeda is an associate professor of Computer Science and Engineering, and also a Director for the Electrical System and Electronics Center of Excellence at Adama Science and Technology University (ASTU), School of Electrical Engineering and Computing, Adama, Ethiopia. Received B.Sc. in Computer Science and IT, 2007; M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering, 2010; Ph.D in Information Technology (IP Networking & Mobile Internet Specialty), 2018. He has been working in a different academic position in the same institute since 2007. He is leading a Network Science, IoT, and Cybersecurity Special Interest Group (SIG) research unit at ASTU. He had also served as a Director of the ICT Directorate Office, 2018-2021. Among his research interests are computer networks and distributed computing, ad hoc wireless and sensor networks, Internet of Things (IoT), cryptographic protocols, cybersecurity & Artificial Intelligence (AI). His research papers have been published in internationally refereed journals and proceeding conferences.
