About Pablo Billeke
Pablo Billeke is a dedicated scientist with a passion for neuroscience research. He obtained his degree in Medicine from Universidad de Chile in 2007 and continued his academic pursuits, earning a Ph.D. in Medical Science from P. Universidad Católica de Chile. During his doctoral studies, he researched Social Neuroscience and Electrophysiology, performing stays at Universite Piere et Marie Curie and the University of Grenoble. After completing his Ph.D., he began his career as a research and lab director at Universidad del Desarrollo. He established a laboratory focused on oscillatory activity, magnetic resonance imaging, and non-invasive brain stimulation techniques. Pablo's work has led to numerous collaborations, grant projects, congress presentations, and publications in high-impact journals. Pablo is also an active mentor to students and early-career researchers, sharing his knowledge and expertise to help develop the next generation of neuroscientists. He is deeply committed to advancing the field of neuroscience and is driven by a desire to improve our understanding of the brain by exploring the causal relationship between oscillatory activity and cognitive processing. Through his research, Pablo aims to develop new approaches to cognitive rehabilitation therapies for neurological and psychiatric symptoms, focusing on improving the lives of individuals affected by these conditions.
