About Philipp Walch
I am a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Lausanne with a strong and interdisciplinary background in the life sciences, focusing on bacterial infection biology, immunology and host-pathogen interactions. Additionally I have managerial training and abilities, which I was able to expand during my MBA studies at the Collège des Ingénieurs and a subsequent project phase at Roche.
During my current research position, I aim to expand and complement my investigative and methodological skills, contribute my scientific experience, as well as strengthen my abilities in critical thinking, teamwork, project management, writing and mentoring. Throughout my education I have always valued teaching and mentoring, and I am continuing to seek out opportunities to inspire others and help them develop.
