Leukaemia and sperm, a connection most unlikely.

In our recently published study in Leukemia, we discovered a new but completely unexpected link between the historically challenging oncogene RUNX1 and SPATS2L (Spermatogenesis Associated Serine Rich 2-Like) in blast-phase chronic myeloid leukaemia (BP-CML).
