About Sang Ryong Kim, PhD

I utilize adeno-associated virus (AAV)-based targeted gene delivery systems to evaluate the therapeutic efficacy of candidate genes in rodent models of neurodegenerative diseases or aging. Through these preclinical studies, I aim to establish a foundation for translational approaches in gene therapy.
I hope that the successful outcomes of my research will contribute to the development of advanced experimental techniques essential for biomedical research and therapeutic strategies targeting neurodegenerative diseases, including brain aging
