About Shaopu Wang
Infant health is the foundation of lifelong well-being, and gut microbiome dysbiosis during this critical developmental window is linked to numerous diseases. My research seeks to unravel the underlying mechanistic connections and develop targeted microbial therapies to improve pediatric outcomes. To achieve this, I employ cutting-edge multi-omics approaches—including metagenomics, metabolomics, viromics, and culturomics—integrated with bioinformatics and molecular biology techniques.
