About Tejshree

I am a climate, data and water scientist at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU), working at the intersection of environmental change, freshwater ecosystems, and long-term research infrastructures. My research focuses on understanding how climate variability, hydrological processes, and landscape characteristics influence carbon and water dynamics in boreal ecosystems. I am particularly interested in using long-term environmental observations, data integration, and interdisciplinary approaches to improve our understanding of how ecosystems respond to global change.

Behind the paper: How 40 years of river observations revealed the hidden scales of carbon dynamics

How can river networks show both smooth downstream patterns and abrupt shifts in carbon dynamics? 40 years of Krycklan research reveals how continuous processes and patchy landscape features interact to shape and help predict freshwater carbon dynamics in the Variable Scale Domains framework
