About Thomas V. Fernandez, MD

Dr. Fernandez is a child psychiatrist and psychiatric geneticist who has an active clinical practice and research laboratory. At the Yale Child Study Center, Dr. Fernandez is the Vice Chair for Research and Co-Director of the Tic Disorder/OCD/ADHD Specialty Clinic. His research aims to clarify the neurobiology of and risk factors for childhood neuropsychiatric conditions, including Tourette syndrome, OCD, ADHD, anxiety, and stereotypic movements.
