Research area: Atmospheric secondary aerosol formation mechanism and heterogeneous chemistry.

Main scientific achievements: Dr. Tianzeng Chen has been carrying out systematic research on the formation mechanism and key influencing factors of secondary aerosols under compound pollution conditions for a long time, and has made important progress in the new mechanism of secondary aerosol formation and its environmental effects under compound pollution conditions. The related research results have been published as the corresponding author and first/co-first author in the journals of Natl. Sci. Rev. Rev., TrAC Trends Anal. Chem., Environ. Sci. Technol., npj Clim. Atmos. Sci. and Atmos. Chem. Phys. and other international journals, with a total of 21 academic papers. Dr. Tianzeng Chen has also been awarded the Excellence Award of the Third Youth Academic Speech Contest in 2023.
