About Amy Joint
My background is quite a long way from Clinical Trials, having studied Zoology. I got into publishing thanks to a week long course on it during my second year of university and haven't looked back since.
I previously managed some very varied groups of journals at Wiley and Springer Nature, before setting up F1000's Life and Medical Sciences commissioning team.
In 2024 I returned to Springer Nature to manage the ISRCTN registry, which has been publishing clinical studies of any design since 2000.
Outside of work, I'm a slightly reluctant runner and very novice potter. I can usually be found out walking my dog or at a gig at the weekends!
