About Bryon Silva

Bryon Silva is a postdoctoral researcher at the Paris Brain Institute (ICM), where he investigates how enteric and central neurons fuel behaviour through specialised metabolic pathways. During his PhD in Thomas Preat’s lab at ESPCI Paris, he conceived and drove the metabolic memory programme that uncovered both the glia-to-neuron ketone body shuttle and neuronal fatty acid oxidation in intensive learning.
