I am currently a PhD student in the Molecular Pharmacology and Experimental Track within the Mayo Clinic Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences. My thesis advisor is Dr. Saad Kenderian, an expert in the field of chimeric antigen receptor T (CART) cell therapy. For my thesis work, I have focused on understanding mechanisms of resistance to CART cell therapy with a specific interest in CART cell exhaustion. I am hoping that my work towards enhancing the understanding of resistance can help inspire more effective cancer treatments in the future.
