About Jewar Safeno Jara

Hello everyone,

My name is Jewar Safeno Jara, an MSc holder in Biodiversity Conservation and Management and BSc in Forest Resources Management and a lecturer in College of Agriculture and Natural Resources at Mizan-Tepi University, Ethiopia.

My academic interests focus on Forestry, Ethnobotany, biodiversity conservation, agro-biodiversity, ecosystem services, and sustainable natural resource management, with particular emphasis on Ethiopian ecosystems and genetic resources.

Through my teaching and research, I aim to contribute to the conservation of biodiversity and the promotion of sustainable livelihoods. I am also interested in collaborating on research related to conservation ecology, biodiversity monitoring, and environmental policy.

I look forward to connecting with researchers and professionals in related fields.
