About Luciano Moffatt
I am an Independent Researcher at INQUIMAE (CONICET-UBA) in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
My main interest is translating biological knowledge into predictive mathematical models and using them to extract quantitative information from experimental data.
I focus on the intersection of ion channel biophysics, structural biology, and computational statistics. By developing Bayesian inference tools (such as MacroIR), I aim to bridge the gap between macroscopic recordings and atomic-level dynamics, moving beyond abstract fits toward physically grounded mechanisms.
