About Nao Nitta
I work at the intersection of academia and industry, focusing on cell measurement technologies and their real-world implementation. My background includes immune cell activity measurement, flow cytometry, imaging technologies, and cell analysis platforms. I currently focus on quantitative analysis of cytological specimens using 3D digitization and AI-based morphological analysis. I am interested in bridging research, engineering, and clinical practice to develop practical technologies for cytology, cell analysis, and life science research.

From measuring cells to making cytology more transparent
This work began with an urgent request from clinicians concerned about how cytology could be sustained in the future. What followed was a long collaboration in which we learned that the hardest part was not just building better devices or AI, but learning how experts truly see cells.
