About Pablo Aycart Lazo
My research focuses on understanding how biodiversity varies across environmental gradients, particularly in tropical biomes. I am especially interested in the impact of human environmental modifications on bird, bat and arthropod communities and ecosystem functioning. By combining field studies and multidimensional biodiversity analyses at different spatial scales, I address complex conservation challenges in megadiverse tropical ecosystems such as the Amazon rainforest.
