I'm a biophysicist studying anesthesia, pain, and neurodegeneration.  I was born and raised in the United States, studied at UCSD, and started my own lab at The Scripps Research Institute. I recently moved to Beijing to join the Chinese Institutes for Medical Research (CIMR).
