About Shikai Liu
I am working on genomics and genetic breeding of aquatic animals. In recent year, using oysters as main model, we have been investigating the formation and evolution of typical traits in bivalves by employing multi-omics and genetics approaches. We are also working on the genetic improvement of the Pacific oyster toward fast-growth, high-quality and high environmental resilience .
