Climate change and earthquake risk are increasingly shaping the future of infrastructure systems and urban resilience.

Content:
As an Associate Professor in Structural and Earthquake Engineering, my research focuses on climate-resilient infrastructure systems, seismic performance of structures, sustainable urban transformation, and AI-supported engineering applications.

Today, infrastructure systems are exposed not only to seismic hazards, but also to increasing climate-related risks such as extreme heat, flooding, heavy precipitation, and environmental degradation. These combined risks require multidisciplinary engineering approaches integrating resilience, sustainability, and data-driven decision-making.

Through research, graduate supervision, editorial activities, and international collaborations, I am particularly interested in:

• Climate adaptation in infrastructure systems
• Earthquake-resistant and resilient structures
• Sustainable transportation and urban systems
• AI and machine learning applications in civil engineering
• Risk assessment and infrastructure resilience

I look forward to connecting with researchers, editors, and professionals working in these areas and contributing to interdisciplinary discussions on resilient infrastructure and sustainable engineering solutions.
