Guest Edited Collection: Human Embryogenesis

Human embryonic development occurs through a carefully coordinated sequence of cell division and differentiation, yet the precise mechanisms underlying this intriguing process remain unclear. The advent of new technologies (iPSC and CRISPR), now offers exceptional potential to investigate the beginning of life.
Our recently opened Collection ‘Human Embryogenesis’ at Scientific Reports focuses on early human development and welcomes work that elucidates the fascinating first stages of human life.
The Collection is led by a team of Guest Editors; Lynda K. McGinnis, Gerald Schatten and Akihiro Umezawa and is open for submissions of original research until the end of August 2022.
