About Alex Goodridge

Alex joined the BMC Series in January 2023 as an Associate Editor. Before joining BMC, Alex completed a BSc in Biological Sciences and an MSc in Molecular Biotechnology at the University of Birmingham. He then worked in industry for a few years as a research scientist at a medical development company, before obtaining his PhD research in Biotechnology at Durham University. In his role as Editor for BMC Oral Health and BMC Primary Care, Alex has been dedicated to promoting open access publishing and reproducible research.
