Buried deep freshwater reserves beneath salinity-stressed coastal Bangladesh
In large parts of the coastal zone of Bangladesh the shallow groundwater is salty, but in places there is deep groundwater that is fresh. We used electromagnetic methods to explore where deep groundwater is fresh versus saline to better understand this potential resource.
