About Xiaoxu Yang
Dr. Yang is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Human Genetics, University of Utah. Received training in Information Science and Technology and a Bachelor's degree in BioSciences from Beijing Normal University, PhD in Bioinformatics from Peking University, and postdoctoral research in Neurosciences at the University of California, San Diego. The Yang laboratory combines computational and experimental expertise and sits in the interdisciplinary zone. Dr. Yang's research interests include computational and experimental methodology development for genomic mosaicism, and using genomic mosaicism to understand human health, development, disease, and transmission genetic risks.
