About Håkan Eggert

I am an Associate Professor in Economics. The overall aim of my research is sustainable management of resources which means that I study for example bio-economics, risk, production, compliance and valuation, often with a link to marine resources. I am Associate Editor for the journal Environment and Development Economics and guest Editor for Marine Resource Economics and Marine Policy. I have been a visiting professor at University of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. I am currently Program Director and principle investigator of the Marine research program that focus on aquaculture and fisheries management in transitional and developing countries within the Environment for Development network.
