After a lovely family vacation in Greece, I got back to London for a few hours - enough only to repack my bag and get soaked with the pouring rain. Luckily I'm now back to sunny weather in Sant Feliu de Guixols, near Barcelona, for the BacNet 17. The program looks busy but great, the setting spectacular, so it promises to be quite a nice week.

The conference was busy but exceptionally well planned with considerable breaks to wind and unwind. The presence of pioneers and peers of the bacterial network community gave deep insights.
