About Daqi Yu

I hold a background in bioinformatics, with a focus on evolutionary genomics and genetics.


My research interests revolve around several key topics, including comparative genomics, gene duplication, genetic interactions, and transposable elements.

After completing my PhD at Chinese Academy of Sciences, I joined a start-up as a research scientist, where I gained much knowledge on a variety of gene editing tools, particularly CRISPR systems.
