About Giovanni Pittiglio
Giovanni Pittiglio was born in Cassino (FR), Italy. He received his B.S. in Biomedical Engineering, M.S. in Robotics and Automation from Università di Pisa, Pisa, Italy, M. Res. in Medical Robotics from Imperial College of London, London, UK and PhD in Medical Robotics from the University of Leeds, Leeds, UK.
He is currently a research fellow in Boston Children's Hospital and Harvard Medical School, Boston (MA, USA). He is recipient of the Alumni Award for Science and Sustainability in the USA, awarded by British Council to distinguished alumni of British institutions.
His research interests include medical robots and devices, continuum robots, sensing and control applied to robotic systems.
