About Giulio Pergola

I believe that learning brings about change all the way from brain cells to how we define who we are. My research asks how genetic and environmental components of human experience determine inter-individual variability. I am also interested in mental health, especially schizophrenia. Our lab tries to connect layers of biological systems from cells to brain circuits and behavior. I am looking for talented thinkers, science enthusiasts, and collaborators who seek to learn why we are who we are.
