About Gloria Fackelmann
My postdoc research investigates links between gut metagenomes, diet and human health using multiomics approaches and large-scale, global cohorts, where I combine microbial ecology and ecological statistics with machine learning methods.
During my fast-track PhD at Ulm University in Germany, my research focused on the impacts of anthropogenic stressors on the gut microbiome of wildlife as indicators of health within the EcoHealth and OneHealth approaches.
