About Jiabo Yin

My current research interets focus on investigating the multiscale nature of the continental hydrologic and carbon cycle, with observations (remote sensing and in situ), models and machine learning. In particular, I am interested in understanding the physical mechanisms of weather-related hazards (e.g., drought, floods, heatwaves and compound events) as well as their socioeconomic and ecological impacts, under both current and future climates.
