Santhana Krishna Kumar obtained his Ph. D degree from Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS-Pilani), India in 2014, his research mainly focused on the development of novel and suitably tailored adsorbents for heavy metals detoxification (chromium, mercury & arsenic). Subsequently, Dr Kumar joined as a postdoctoral researcher (2014-2021) in National Sun Yat-sen University Taiwan, during his post-doctoral tenure acquired wide variety of experimental knowledge which are mainly involved in the preparation of zero-dimensional, one-dimensional and two-dimensional fluorescent probes for practical application in chemical sensors, bio-imaging & cancer cell detection and also he developed catalysts for visible light induced catalytic degradation of aromatic nitro compounds (Tri-nitro phenols, nitro aniline). Dr. Kumar currently working as an adjunct (assistant professor) from faculty of geology geophyical and environmental protection in AGH University Science and Technology, Poland. Dr. Kumar has author and co-author over 46 research articles in peer-reviewed scientific journals with more than 2200 citations, (h index of 26, i10 index 36, i100 index 5 and data from Google scholar).
