About Sean Connell
I research how marine life adjusts to environmental change - and actionable solutions for its preservation.
My work has progressed from addressing spatial issues (integrating local experiments to biogeography) to incorporating temporal issues (ecological-histories to ecological-futures). This cross-fertilisation of ideas led to the development of foundational theory in ecological stability, loss of stability and its repair. As my focus broadens my search for solutions for environmental repair, I incorporate research with engineers, social scientists, psychologists and law scholars to be more effective in the social, economic and policy application and legal reform of my work.
