Near-infrared light driven two-photon-absorbing photocatalysis
Homogeneous photocatalysis typically employs one-photon-absorbing photosensitizers and requires UV/visible light irradiation. Herein, we report a group of ruthenium complexes with two-photon-absorption capabilities to drive organic photocatalysis using low-cost NIR LED (740 nm) as the light source.

Glycaemic control is associated with COVID-19 breakthrough infections
Patients' characteristics might also influence the efficacy of vaccines against COVID-19. We show that poor glycaemic control is associated with a decreased immune response to Pfizer vaccine and also with an increased incidence of breakthrough infections in patients with Type 2 Diabetes.
