Launched in 2023 by Springer Nature in partnership with Shanghai University, MaM is the first international journal dedicated to Beyond Moore’s technologies in integrated circuits. As an interdisciplinary platform led by Editors-in-Chief Prof. Jianhua Zhang and Prof. Hanming Wu, MaM showcases cutting-edge research and industrial innovations addressing critical technological and societal challenges. Our distinguished editorial board comprises leading experts and rising stars in the field, ensuring a strong foundation for the journal’s continued success.
The Young Editorial Board plays a vital role in shaping MaM’s future direction and serves as a key pipeline for the main editorial team. If you have innovative ideas and a passion for integrated circuits, we encourage you to apply. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a leading international journal and leverage your expertise to advance the field.
Young Editorial Board Membership Requirements:
- Doctoral degree, associate senior title or above, and under 40 years of age (exceptional candidates may be considered beyond this age limit).
- Experience with nationally or provincially funded research projects or key research programs. Research interests should align with areas such as materials science, physics, chemistry, mechanics, electronic information science and technology, materials science and engineering, communication engineering, electrical automation, biochips, artificial intelligence, etc.
- 10+ publications as first or corresponding author in reputable international journals.
- Demonstrated academic rigor, a positive attitude, alignment with the journal's philosophy, and enthusiasm for MaM's development and mission.
- Prior experience organizing and handling manuscripts for conferences or journals is preferred.
Responsibilities of Young Editorial Board Members:
- Submit or invite at least one high-quality manuscript within the first year of appointment.
- Assist the editorial team with soliciting, organizing, planning, and reviewing special issues.
- Actively promote MaM through channels like WeChat, academic conferences, online presentations, and other platforms, encouraging high-quality submissions.
- Actively participate in MaM-organized conferences and exchange activities.
- Identify and invite internationally recognized experts to join the journal's editorial board.
