About Laura Pallett
Senior Postdoctoral Associate in the lab of Professor Mala Maini at UCL. Our lab sits at the forefront of research on liver immunity and immunopathology, specifically focusing on the cellular interactions in the context of viral hepatitis. My current research interests are the phenotypic and functional characterization of tissue resident T cells in the liver, and in chronic HBV infection with implications for future immunotherapeutic strategies and the metabolic regulation of the antiviral T cell response in the setting of nutrient starvation
