Behind the Paper
The real stories behind the latest research papers, from conception to publication, the highs and the lows
The anthropogenic component of recent and future warming in the Arctic, under observational constraints
The study aims to constrain the 21st century projections of Arctic winter temperatures. Results show that the recently observed four-fold Arctic amplification of global warming is mostly but not entirely due to a human influence, and will decrease with increasing radiative forcings.
Unveiling Central Asia's Hidden Hydrological Treasures: CA-discharge, a Novel Data Compilation
A collection of geo-located river runoff time series in mountainous Central Asia.
High-throughput and efficient clean-up of viscous crude oil spills
Crude oil spills with high viscosity make the clean-up of oil spills a global challenge in practice, and bring severe threat to the marine environment. In this work, we demonstrate a gel mesh filter interface design coupled with induction heating, for high-throughput clean-up of viscous oil spills.
