Gilteritinib plus CUDC-907 – A Novel Therapeutic Combination with The Ability to Overcome Drug Resistance
In this study, we showed that combining the second-generation FLT3 inhibitor gilteritinib with the dual PI3K/HDAC inhibitor CUDC-907 synergistically improved anti-leukemic activity against FLT3-ITD acute myeloid leukemia (AML) – and that each agent reciprocally overcame resistance to the other drug.
Impact of an accelerated melting of Greenland on malaria distribution over Africa
How can vector-borne diseases be impacted by non-linear climate instabilities, such as a rapid melting of the ice sheet, that can have a strong impact on climate? We try to answer this question by studying the impact of an accelerated melting of the Greenland ice sheet on climate and malaria in Africa.
Plant-like SPX-PHR-PSI regulatory cascade operates in phytoplankton
Phytoplankton are aquatic counterparts of plants, contributing 50% of CO2 drawdown and O2 production. They also are the base of the marine food chain. Like plants, their photosynthesis and growth rely on nutrients such as phosphate. How phytoplankton regulate P nutrition is poorly understood.
Environmental dimensions of the protein corona
Our understanding of how biomolecules redirect the fate and impact of nanomaterials in the environment is rapidly advancing. We present the emerging work, along with our perspective on next steps in eco-corona studies.
