Bidirectional wavelength-division-multiplexing fibre-free-space optical communications using polarisation multiplexing technique and tunable optical vestigial sideband filter
A bidirectional WDM fibre-FSO communication employing polarisation multiplexing technique and tunable optical VSB filter is proposed and successfully achieved. The capability of bidirectional fibre-FSO communications holds substantial potential for enhancing advanced wired-wireless communications.
Nanofluidic Sensing
The unique nanoconfined water often leads to the discovery of unexpected phenomena. Here, we report an electrically controlled two-dimensional channels with cation intercalated for nanofluidic sensing, which opens a door for the field of sensing.
Self-powered and speed-adjustable sensor for abyssal ocean current measurements based on triboelectric nanogenerators
An ultra-compact deep-sea current sensor utilizing triboelectric nanogenerator technology is developed.Measurements conducted at a depth of 4,531 meters demonstrated that the instrument can accurately measure a wide range of flow velocities, from 0.02 m/s to 6.69 m/s,with the highest sensitivity.
Blind Color Image Watermarking Using Deep Artificial Neural Network Using Statistical Features
This paper presents a methodology for copyright protection and authorship of digital contents for smart city. In order to achieve a balance between imperceptibility and robustness a robust watermarking scheme is proposed using deep artificial neural network (DNN) and lifting wavelet transform(LWT).
5G WDM-based bidirectional OWC system with signal remodulation employing cascaded RSOAs
A 5G WDM-based bidirectional OWC system with cascaded RSOAs to effectively remove the downstream data is demonstrated. The uplink performance is greatly enhanced by using two RSOAs to remove the downstream data. This demonstrated system holds great potential to enhance 5G advanced communications.
